NGĀ MANAIA CLUB DIVE

Join our dive club for free!

It's the perfect way to dive regularly, join exciting trips, and connect with fellow divers who share your passion for the ocean and the environment. While club dives are always free, please contact us in advance if you need to hire equipment so we can arrange it for you

SOLOMAN ISLANDS GIZO TRIP 2026
JUNE 12th - 19th  (TRIP NOW FULL)

Explore the incredible biodiversity of wrecks and vibrant reefs of Gizo, Soloman islands with Aotearoa Dive. 
Gizo is celebrated as offering some of the worlds most exciting and diverse diving and we are going to be exploring world war 2 wrecks, offshore reefs, dramatic coral walls and the abundant marine life that inhabited it all.

Included: Return flights, accomodation, dives, all meals and transfers

FULL - Please note this trip is for experienced divers with Deep and Nitrox certifications 

ANNUAL DIVE CLEAN UP APRIL 12TH 2026 - HAMURANA SPRINGS

Date: Sunday, April 12th, 2026
Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Hamurana Springs

We are privileged to have the opportunity to dive Hamurana Springs for our 2026 Clean-Up event. This year, we will be focusing on “Eco Gardening” – giving back to the taiao, safeguarding the mauri of our lakes, and maintaining their integrity. This is a day for divers, whānau, tamariki, and community to work together both in and out of the water!

Important Notes:

  • All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

  • All divers participating must be professionally trained and certified. Bring your certification for verification.

  • All entering the water above the hips must wear a wetsuit 

  • Safety first—follow all instructions from Aotearoa Dive at all times.

What to Bring:
Divers: Full dive kit in good, functioning condition dive knifes and gloves
Land Volunteers: Enclosed shoes and gloves
All Participants: Reusable water bottle, dress appropriately for conditions, and a positive attitude :)

Event Schedule:

10.30 - 11:00 AM – Registration

  • All participants must register at the registration tent including tamariki 

11:15 AM – Karakia

  • A blessing to open the day in honour place and people

11:30 AM – Safety Briefing (Mandatory for all volunteers both land and divers)

  • Dive safety procedures, equipment check, and site overview.

  • Land volunteers will also receive a brief on shoreline tasks.

11:45 AM – Activity Start

  • Divers enter the water.

  • Land volunteers allocated to shoreline areas and critter station.

11.45 PM – 12:45 PM – Clean-Up & Eco Gardening

  • Focused effort on removing pest weed 

  • Whanau, tamariki, and non-divers help on the shoreline.

1:00 PM – BBQ Lunch / Kai Served

  • Relax, refuel, and share stories from the morning.

1:30 PM – Group Photo, spot prizes given out 

  • Capture the day and the amazing mahi of our volunteers.

1:45 PM – 2:45 PM – Second Clean-Up Session

  • Divers back in the water.

  • Land volunteers continue shoreline Eco Gardening.

 2:45 PM – Cakes and desserts served, Spot prizes given out

  • Yummy treats for our volunteers

3:00 PM – Wind down  

  • Thank you to all participants and volunteers!

  • Reflect on the day’s impact and celebrate the contribution to our lakes.

4:00 PM Event Concludes

GHOST DIVING CLEAN UP EVENT - WELLINGTON 4TH JULY 2026

Out annual pilgrimage down to Wellington will soon be on us. Each year we take a group of our divers to support the amazing work conducted by our mates Ghost Diving NZ.
